What We Do
Gateway West, formerly known as the Westside Emergency Housing Center in Albuquerque is specifically established to provide assistance to both men and women who are currently homeless. Its primary objective is to offer immediate shelter, resources, and support to individuals in need, with the aim of addressing their housing instability and improving their overall well-being.
Volunteer programs here play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness. These programs offer a way for community members to engage directly with those in need and contribute to addressing homelessness. This can include meal services, shelter operations, support services, donation management, outreach and engagement and administration support.
